COVID-19 Vaccine and Permanent Makeup

Due to the nature of the covid-19 vaccine (ANY vaccine really) clients must wait a minimum of 3-4 weeks even better is 90 days after booster to receive permanent makeup and vice versa. Vaccines compromise our immune systems because antibodies are learning to fight against what we have been vaccinated to. This requires a lot of effort and energy by our immune system, effort and energy that should otherwise be used to heal you new permanent makeup. We want your immune system and your health to be tip top so the healing process of your new permanent makeup is seamless, fast, and productive! When the healing process is not seamless and your immune system is busy healing other issues many things can go wrong; longer healing period, less color retention, possible infection, possible complete pigment rejection, to name a few.

With these in mind we appreciate your understanding and patience as we want your experience in getting your permanent makeup to be the best from start to finish!

P.S. We at My Cosmetique Pro are in no way saying do or don't get this or any other vaccine because you want permanent makeup. Your health choices are up to you and your doctors and for what is best for you. Please notify your technician at time of consultation if you have received or plan to receive any vaccine recently.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post!

XOXOXO,

Kristen
